The link below is the family tree for the Ptacek and Slipka and Horeish family as it relates to my wife - Patricia Cheffer Ladolcetta - granddaughter of Marie Slipka or Slifka. When Marie Slipka's father Frank Slipka died of pneumonia resulting from a fire at his job as a cabinet maker, his wife Josephine Ptacek sent Marie to live with her parents (Joseph and Josephine Ptacek). Later when the mom married a man named Horeish, Marie went back to live with them. The three families lived in the St. Paul Minnesota area and were of Bohemian ancestry from a group that came over from Bohemia due to famine and hunger in Europe.
